- Throughout the season, the Admissions Committee ranks each applicant and by January 15, submits a rank-ordered list of the applicants from Texas to the TMDSAS. This list will include all applicants currently holding offers from McGovern Medical School. The TMDSAS then uses information received from schools to match with the applicant’s preference previously submitted.
- Letters of acceptance from all schools participating in the match are sent on February 1. Applicants may also find out their Match status from the TMDSAS website.
- Accepted applicants are required to indicate their decision in writing within two weeks. An applicant who later decides to accept a position in another institution should give prompt notice of withdrawal from MMS in writing.
