Lowell T. Ku, M.D., ’97 named Chief of Staff of Forest Park Medical Center-Frisco

Dr. Ku is honored to announce that he has been named Chief of Staff of Forest Park Medical Center – Frisco.  Dr. Ku practices Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility, and Reproductive Surgery at Dallas IVF where he is a senior partner and the medical director.  Dr. Ku has been nationally recognized as America’s Top Obstetricians & Gynecologists and has received numerous awards such as the Super Doctors Award as seen in Texas Monthly Magazine, Best Doctors in Dallas Award and the Best Doctors in Collin County Award as seen in D Magazine, as well as Texas’ Favorite Physicians Award.

Dr. Ku has been featured numerous times on TV shows such as the Best Docs Network.  He also has been the featured physician on websites such as FertilityAuthority.com, TheBump.com, DisneyFamily.com, and Redbook.com.

Dr. Ku serves on the board of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He recently served as president of the Alumni Association Board of Trustees at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston – Medical School.  “I’m proud to be an UTH alum and to be a part of a community that fosters education for the next generations.  I was very honored to have been able to help lead the Alumni Association during my time as President.”

After having helped thousands of patients overcome seemingly impossible odds to become parents, Dr. Ku and his wife could not conceive after 3 years of trying. After numerous IVF attempts, Dr. Ku and his wife finally welcomed a boy into the family. 18 months later after another IVF cycle, Dr. Ku and his wife welcomed their daughter into their family. “I draw upon my experience of infertility as a never-ending determination to help countless more patients overcome their own infertility not only medically but also emotionally.”

Dr. Ku takes great pride in treating women with the warmth and respect that leads to a nurturing relationship with patients.
