Srikanth Sridhar, MD, Appointed Assistant Vice President of Quality and Safety at UTHealth

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Sri Sridhar, MD, has accepted the position of Assistant Vice President of Quality and Safety for UTHealth. In this new role, he will be working with a team that President Colasurdo is assembling to lead efforts to ensure the highest quality of patient care and gold standard safety practices across all schools under the UTHealth umbrella. It gives us great pride to have one of our own in such an important leadership role at the institutional level.

Within the Department of Anesthesiology, Dr. Sridhar will remain as Director of Transplant Anesthesia and Vice Chair of Quality and Safety. He will continue to lead our quality and peer review teams, as well as work toward developing quality dashboards and inclusion of our clinical data in a multi-center quality database. In addition, he will lead our efforts to utilize clinical quality and safety data to help determine incentive payments.
