The Department of Anesthesiology at UTHealth is pleased to announce that Lauren Brollier, MD, and Amber Campbell, MD, have both been appointed assistant program directors. We would like to thank everyone who applied for these positions and welcome their assistance with the educational missions of this department.
Dr. Brollier attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed her residency with our department. In her final year she served as the educational chief resident. Following her residency training, Dr. Brollier completed a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship and returned to our institution to work full time as a pediatric anesthesiologist. She has served as a co-director for medical student rotations and has been instrumental in the creation of our OSCE education program for CA-3 residents.
Dr. Campbell attended medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed her residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey. She served as chief resident in her final year of training. After graduation, Dr. Campbell completed a critical care fellowship with our department and remained on as a member of our faculty. She works in the main operating rooms and covers the ICU at both MHH-SW and STICU at MHH-TMC.
