Clinical Interests

Dr. Michelle Ge is a double board-certified physician in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Dr. Ge went to college at Rice University where she graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. She then completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch, and then went on to do a fellowship in pain management at the University of California, Davis.  Dr. Ge believes a holistic approach is important in the sustainable treatment of chronic pain, and utilizes a combination of interventional techniques, medication management, physical therapy, lifestyle optimization, and psychological therapies.  In addition to seeing patients in clinic, Dr. Ge is also a respected anesthesiologist who is passionate about getting patients through surgery as safely and comfortably as possible.  Her forte is the management of acute on chronic pain in the perioperative period. Dr. Ge is an active member of multiple societies including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia (ASRA), the American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA) and the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). Outside of medicine, Dr. Ge enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs, as well as running, tennis, and reading.
