100K Vaccines

After three months of vaccinating the community, the UTHealth Vaccine Hub administered its 100,000th dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, April 9. The 100,000th dose was given to Beverly Hensley, who at age 71 is considered at high risk for severe illness from COVID-19.
“Getting the vaccine felt good,” she said. “It’s not what I expected. Being vaccinated is very important because of my age.”
Thank you to all of the volunteers and employees, who for months have dedicated their lives to the public health crisis.
