Chantal M. Brazeau, MD, professor of family psychiatry and assistant dean for faculty vitality at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, will present the 2021 Henry W. Withers Lectureship in Family Medicine, Wednesday, June 16.
Brazeau will present her virtual lecture titled “Physician Well-being Beyond COVID-19: Toward Post Traumatic Growth,” from 1-2 p.m., via Cisco Webex. The lecture password is FMRDidactics21. The event is sponsored by the Department of Family and Community Medicine.
After receiving her medical degree from the University of Ottawa, Brazeau practiced in a family medicine group before completing her psychiatry residency at the former University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Brazeau has served as director of Medical Student Education and interim chair of the Department of Family Medicine at NJMS.
She has served as assistant dean for Faculty Vitality at NJMS since 2016 and was appointed chief wellness officer at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) in December 2019 and assistant dean for Faculty Vitality at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) in January 2020.
