Multiple Sclerosis Patient Education Day set for April 16

Patient Education DayThe Division of Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology in the Department of Neurology will host a Patient Education Day, Saturday April 16 at the Denton A. Cooley, MD & Ralph C. Cooley, DDS University Life Center (7440 Cambridge St.).

The event begins with check in and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., with lectures starting at 8:15 a.m.

The Patient Education Day will feature short talks from members of the McGovern Medical School Division of Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology, including one presentation given in Spanish, followed by a Q&A session. Attendees will receive valuable information about multiple sclerosis and answer any questions they may have.

Attendees can choose from a list of topics that they would like to see covered including new treatments, recently approved treatments, stem cells in MS, treatments that repair MS damage, diet, exercise, probiotics, and management of particular symptoms as well as any topics not included in the list.
