Casey Crump, MD, PhD, professor of family medicine & community health and population health science and policy at Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, will present the 2022 Henry W. Withers Lectureship in Family Medicine, Wednesday, July 13.

Crump will present his lecture titled “Birth History and Health Risks Across the Life Course: Implications for Family Medicine, from 1-2 p.m. in MSB 2.135 and virtually via Cisco Webex. The Webex meeting number and password are:

Crump is the ice Chair for Research in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health at Mount Sinai, and previously served as director of the Center for Primary Care Research at Stanford University. His research focuses on life course epidemiology through an ongoing partnership with Lund University in Sweden, and health disparities research at the Institute for Family Health in New York.

Crump received his MD from Tulane University and his PhD in epidemiology from the University of Washington. He completed an internal medicine internship at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis and a family medicine residency at the University of Washington Medical Center.
