Biography

Alexandra “Ally” Wild grew up in the small town of Nacogdoches, Texas. She found her passion for medicine at a young age as she watched her mother donate a kidney to her aunt. In 2017 Ally received her BSA in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with honors. As an undergraduate she was a member of the Polymathic Scholars Honors Program and Alpha Chi Omega sorority. In addition, she participated in research in the area of brain pathology. Ally went on to attend the University of Texas Medical  Branch in Galveston,  Texas where she received her Masters in Physician Assistant  Studies in 2020. As a student Ally was able to rotate with the Center  for Advanced Heart Failure and see firsthand the amazing work performed behind these doors. After graduation she was thrilled to accept her “dream job “as a cardiovascular and transplant surgery PA at the Center for Advanced Heart Failure. As a Physician Assistant Ally is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients and extending care to medically underserved populations like her home town.
