Biography

Dr. Maulin Patel is a graduate of Saba University School of Medicine, Dutch Caribbean. He completed his Internal Medicine Training at Drexel University College of Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine at Temple University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

After completing his Fellowship, Dr. Patel joined the University of Texas Health Science Center in August 2021. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas in Houston. His main focus includes managing critically ill patients in the Heart/Lung transplant ICU and Medical ICU at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Texas Medical center.

When he is not in the hospital, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling with family, watching movies, and playing sports including cricket, basketball, etc.
