Nicholas Thrash graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014 and gained experience in trauma, burn, and surgical ICU. He later went on to complete his Masters of Science in Nursing in 2019 with board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. After graduation, Nicholas began his career in San Antonio working at Methodist Hospital with an intensivist group managing patient populations ranging from a burn, surgical, cardiac, neuro/neurosurgical, and covid intensive care. There he precepted students and nurse practitioners to the intensivist role. Nicholas provided education on numerous critical care topics, ranging from shock, ventilator management, and bedside ultrasound techniques to nursing and nurse practitioner staff during his time there. Being from the Southeast Texas area, Nicholas moved to Houston in 2021 and is now an active advanced practice provider at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center Heart Failure team.
