Russell Perkins went to the University of Texas as Arlington for my Bachelors of Science in Nursing, master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and a post-masters certificate in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. He has been practicing nursing since 2011 with experience ranging from emergency medicine to critical care in liver kidney and pancreas transplant, medicine, and trauma intensive care units. He has been a practicing nurse practitioner since February 2019 specializing in heart failure, heart and lung transplant, and ventricular assist devices, as well as structural valvular disease and surgical and medical management of coronary artery disease.
