2026 Scientific Retreat

The 2026 Scientific Retreat, hosted by McGovern Medical School’s Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Research Center and the School of Dentistry’s Center for Craniofacial Research, will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Fayez S. and Susan K. Sarofim Research Building (SRB) from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. This exciting retreat and venue allow trainees of all disciplines to share their latest research developments. The retreat will feature two keynote speakers: Dr. Peter Hotez from Baylor College of Medicine and Dr. Mary Kay Koenig from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Attendance is free, but please complete the Registration and Abstraction Submission Form by March 27, 2026.
