5th Annual Symposium on Aging Research
Please join us for this 5th Annual Symposium on Aging Research. This UTHealth symposium will be held virtually via Webex on October 26, 2021 from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Registration must be completed via Webex. A major goal for the symposium is to highlight the ongoing translational aging research at UTHealth and to help foster the development of emerging technologies. The featured Keynote speaker , Alan S. Green, MD will present on “Theory of Anti-Aging Medicine”. The event will feature a $10,000 Pitch Proposal contest supported by the Harry E. Bovay Jr. Foundation. The pitch projects should be early stage, innovative aging-related proposals that require collaboration to convert to a successful and promising endeavor. Evaluators will select the top three finalists based on innovation and potential impact. These finalists will present a short 10-minute presentation at the Symposium. The audience will then vote on the final winner to receive a $10,000 seed grant.
