September 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Carrie Daniel-MacDougall, PhD, MPH
Host: Dr. Paul Scheet
Dr. Daniel-MacDougall is an associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The primary goal of Dr. Daniel-MacDougall’s research program is to refine and inform evidence-based dietary recommendations across the cancer continuum. As a nutritional epidemiologist, much of her work has focused on identifying diet-related risk or protective factors in large, prospective cohorts of healthy individuals followed for the development of cancer. Since joining MD Anderson in 2012, her research has been increasingly motivated by the many unanswered questions and complexities surrounding nutrition, obesity and the microbiome in cancer patients and survivors.
