Keeping Our Future Safe: Understanding and Preventing Violence to Children, presented by Your Local Epidemiologist Katelyn Jetelina, PhD, MPH

Public health enthusiast, Instagram sensation, and UTHealth Houston School of Public Health alumnus Katelyn Jetelina, PhD, MPH, is coming to The Texas Medical Center and will give a talk at McGovern Medical School. All UTHealth Houston students, trainees, and faculty are welcome to attend (at no cost, but as space allows).

Keeping Our Future Safe: Understanding and Preventing Violence to Children

This presentation will focus on understanding and preventing violence and injury among children and adolescents. Participants will examine the epidemiology and impact of childhood violence and injury, including firearm-related harm, and discuss prevention strategies that span healthcare, education, community partnerships, and public policy.
