Neurosurgery Research Seminar – Dr Jun Li

Jun Li, MD, PhD, FANA, FAAN, the John M. O’Quinn Foundation Presidential Distinguished Chair, Professor and Chairman, Department of Neurology, Houston Methodist Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical College, will speak at the Neurosurgery Research Seminar, Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM in MSB 2.135.
The title of his talk is Myelin Formation and Demyelination.
This presentation will describe the basic mechanisms of myelination that regulate nerve conduction and how they break down in demyelinating diseases, leading to neurological disabilities, and potential molecular targets for myelin repair.
