DESCRIPTION:As firearm injuries continue to claim lives — particularly among children and teenagers — the need for evidence-based prevention remains urgent. This conference convenes experts\, legislators\, researchers\, and advocates in a vital forum to address this ongoing public health crisis. \nHeld in conjunction with National Gun Violence Awareness Day\, we will foster dialogue and collaboration through expert panels\, research presentations\, and policy discussions. Attendees will explore the latest data-driven strategies\, evidence-based policies\, community-led interventions\, and public health innovations aimed at reducing firearm-related harm. This event is FREE and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to wear orange in recognition of National Gun Violence Awareness Day. \nThe event will be held at TMC Helix Park.
