Through the efforts of Dr. Randall Wolf, cardiac surgeon and associate professor with The University of Texas Health and Science Center at the McGovern Medical School, and his dedicated team, Houston can look forward to the inaugural Houston AFib Patient Experience Seminar. The event will be a full day, informational seminar for patients and their friends and family members surrounding the topic of AFib. The event is being held on April 21st, 2018 from 9am – 4pm. This is a great opportunity for patients suffering from AFIB, as well as their friends and family members to learn more about the condition including treatments, medications, nutrition, and . The purpose of the Houston AFib Patient Experience Seminar is to educate the public in an interactive layout allowing the audience to engage in conversation and a question/answer format with leading medical professionals. Our list of speakers, panel members, and guest presentations include surgeons, cardiologists, neurologists, as well as testimonials from local AFib patients. The goal of the Houston AFIB Symposium is to bring awareness to resources and options available to patients suffering from AFIB and their family members.
