Grand Rounds, Special Guest, Mayo Clinic’s Gustavo Oderich, MD on “Towards Total Endovascular Aortic Repair”

Join us for a special Grand Rounds Presentation by Gustavo Oderich, MD, FACS as he presents on “Towards Total Endovascular Aortic Repair”.  Dr. Oderich joins us from the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.  Dr. Oderich will be presenting on the morning of Friday, June 28th, 2019 at the McGovern Medical School, Room 2.103.

At the conclusion of the session, participants should be able to:

  • Assess novel advances in cross sectional aortic imaging for planning complex end-vascular procedures.
  • Review techniques and outcomes of arch and thoracoabdominal endovascular aortic.
  • Discuss future directions of endovascular aortic repair.

Physicians, residents, fellows, and community physicians need to be regularly updated with clinical guidelines, technological innovations, and health system QI process changes in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery so they can implement them in clinical practice to enhance the quality of care improve patient outcomes.

Educational methods will include lectures, case presentations, and panel discussion.

Participants will be asked to complete a session evaluation.
