Dr. Henry Wang and the World Doctors Orchestra

Dr. Henry Wang and members of the World Doctors OrchestraMcGovern Medical School hosts the World Doctors Orchestra as part of the Arts and Resilience Series providing an opportunity for members of the medical school community to spend an hour listening to and learning from a variety of great artists.

Dr. Henry Wang, Professor and Vice Chair of Research is a violinist in the orchestra. The orchestra is presenting two performances this weekend with works by Copland and Brahms:

  1. Friday, Aug. 16 at 5 p.m. in the Crain Garden at Houston Methodist’s Dunn Tower
  2. Saturday, Aug. 17 at 7pm at Rice University’s Stude Concert Hall, Shepherd School of Music
