IV Board Donations at LBJ Hospital

Students with the FRC 2468: Team Appreciates robotics club from Westlake High School in Austin donated ten “Lilypad” IV boards to the Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Hospital pediatric department on April 20, 2017, in Houston. Physician and nursing staff was on hand to receive the boards and noted how delighted the children would be to get to choose from the brightly colored “Lilypads.” Students across multiple clubs from Westlake High School participate in creating the “Lilypads” including manufacturing and painting. Team Appreciate is in Houston participating in the For Inspiration and Recognition and Science and Technology (FIRST) Championship Houston.
