Event Recap: Aortic Health Patient Symposium

In observance of Aortic Dissection Awareness Week from Sept. 19 – 24, The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health sponsored a series of patient seminars at aortic centers across the country, including UTHealth Houston.

On Saturday, Sept. 24, many of faculty members including Dr. Sheila Coogan, Dr. Anthony Estrera, and Dr. Dianna Milewicz participated in the UTHealth Houston Aortic Health Patient Symposium. The event aimed to raise awareness, and educate current and future care providers, about this relatively unknown, but life-threatening disorder.
