Dr. H.V. “Skip” Anderson Receives Distinguished Honors

Congratulations to H.V. “Skip” Anderson, MD, FACC, FSCAI, professor of Cardiovascular Medicine, for being one of three physicians who received recognition at the 2022 Memorial Hermann-TMC and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital as a distinguished physician.

Other recipients included Michelle S. Barratt, MD, and James Ferrendelli, MD.

Dr. Anderson is a recognized expert in the treatment of acute coronary syndromes. He trained with Dr. Andreas Gruentzig in Atlanta, who is considered to be the father of interventional cardiology, and with Dr. Spencer King. In 2014, he received the Distinguished Service Award from the American College of Cardiology. Congratulations to Dr. Anderson for this achievement.
