Biography

Ahmed G. Zedan, MD, is a UT Physicians cardiac electrophysiologist. He provides specialized care for adult and senior patients with cardiovascular disease and heart rhythm problems. Dr. Zedan specializes in complex cardiac arrhythmias, bradycardias and device management, atrial fibrillation, and congestive heart failure or cardiomyopathy.

Dr. Zedan graduated with a medical degree from Mansoura University in Egypt. He continued as a cardiovascular resident in Mansoura, Egypt. He then completed an additional residency in internal medicine at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. This was followed by a fellowship in cardiology completed at Columbia University’s Division of Cardiology, a fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Florida. He also completed a fellowship in electrophysiology at the McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston).
