Biography

Poyee P. Tung, MD, is a professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). She specializes in taking care of adult patients with congenital heart disease, and patients with high risk pregnancy and cardiovascular disease.

Many of her patients have complex medical issues that require a holistic and collaborative approach to their care. She believes in helping patients in the context of their overall medical conditions and diligently works with other physicians to ensure a continuum of care.

Dr. Tung treats teenagers, adults and seniors and speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
