The recent Willerson Lecture, held on Jan. 8 at McGovern Medical School, had the honor of hosting Patrick Serruys, MD, PhD, a world-renowned interventional cardiologist, for an insightful discussion on “The CT Coronary Heart Team: A New Paradigm.”
Dr. Serruys captivated our audience with his profound insights and expertise, providing invaluable knowledge on the innovative use of Computed Tomography (CT) technology and its application in decision-making for heart teams, emphasizing the choice between pharmacotherapy and mechanical revascularization.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field, Dr. Serruys was also presented with the prestigious Steer Award by Jagat Narula, MD, and K. Lance Gould, MD, UTHealth Houston President, Giuseppe Colasurdo, MD.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Serruys for sharing his expertise and insights with us. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from a distinguished leader in the field.
Thank you to all who attended the Willerson Lecture, and we look forward to continuing our journey of discovery and innovation in cardiovascular medicine together.
