Biography

Dr. Scholz received her undergraduate degree from Baylor University and was awarded her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency training in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Her rheumatology fellowship training was at UTHealth McGovern Medical School in Houston, TX. She is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. In 2013, she joined the faculty at the UTHealth McGovern Medical School as an Assistant Professor. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and American College of Physicians. Dr. Scholz practices general rheumatology, and her academic interests include healthcare quality improvement.
