Biography

Dr. Rahat Hussain was awarded his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his internship and residency training at The University of Texas Health Science Center Regional Academic Health Center in Harlingen, Texas. His subspecialty fellowship training was at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is board certified in the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pulmonary Medicine. In 2012 he joined the faculty at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth as an Assistant Professor.
