Dr. Venkataraman graduated from Chennai, India’s Stanley Medical College.  In 2004, he earned his Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  He went on to complete his residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in 2007.  At the University of Birmingham, he completed his Nuclear Cardiology Research fellowship in 2009, his General Cardiology fellowship in 2012, and his Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship in 2013.  He is currently an Assistant Professor of Cardiac Electrophysiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a staff Cardiac Electrophysiologist at UT Physicians – EP Heart.
