In 2004, the McGovern Center for Humanities & Ethics was formed to provide meaningful educational opportunities to faculty and students of UTHealth. Since its founding, the Center has developed a Certificate Program in Medical Humanities & Ethics, offered interprofessional activities through its Campus-Wide Ethics Program and elective courses, and hosted conferences, workshops, and esteemed guest speakers.
In commemoration of its 10th anniversary, the McGovern Center has planned a year-long celebration featuring guest speakers, workshops, and more. To kick-off the year, the Center hosted a breakfast that brought together colleagues from within the Center and other UTHealth schools as we look forward to the next ten years.
