Academy of Master Educators inducts Thomas Cole

Earlier this month Thomas Cole, PhD, was among 12 new inductees at the 7th Academy of Master Educators (AME) ceremony. Cole is the founding and current director of the McGovern Center and holds the McGovern Chair in Medical Humanities. The AME was established at McGovern Medical School in 2009 and now boasts 56 master educators. Fellow inductees included Mark Chassay, MD (Orthopedic Surgery and Family Medicine), Mark Hormann, MD (Pediatrics), Brandy J. McKelvy, MD (Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine), and others.
