Claire D. Clark, Ph.D., M.P.H. is a former—and one of the first—postdoctoral research fellows of the McGovern Center. Dr. Clark’s recent op-ed, “How Sensationalism Compounds the Opioid Crisis,” was published in the “Made by History” section of the Washington Post. Published by Columbia University Press, her book, The Recovery Revolution: The Battle Over Addiction Treatment in the United States, was released in May. Dr. Clark is Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science and History at the University of Kentucky.
