Nathan Carlin to host conference on doctor-writers

Led by Nathan Carlin, PhD, a small conference to feature papers by 10-15 scholars on doctor-writers is in the works. During the three-day conference in Houston, scholars will workshop their papers with feedback from selected respondents and general discussion. The goal of the conference is to produce collaborative work in the form of an edited volume about doctor-writers. The intended audience for the book is undergraduate students in medical and health humanities courses.
