Old Man Country: My Search for Meaning Among the Elders is the latest book written by Thomas Cole, PhD.  The book, released in December 2019 by Oxford University Press, has received much attention from media outlets including The New York Times and the Houston Chronicle. Most recently, Cole’s book was included in an edition of the Page 99 Test. As the name suggests, the text of the 99th page of the book was included in its entirety. The passage discusses transcendence, masculinity, ageism, and success contemplated by Cole following his interview with Hugh Downs.

E-newsletter site Shelf Awareness also reviewed Old Man Country in their recent issue.
