Two new episodes are now available for Life & Work, a podcast-like series hosted by Nathan Carlin, PhD. In each interview, Carlin talks with intellectuals and scholars about the intersections between their personal lives and public scholarship.

This Spring, Carlin interviewed Robert C. Dykstra, PhD, MDiv, and Andrea R. Jain, PhD. Dykstra is the Charlotte W. Newcombe Professor of Pastoral Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary. In Episode 3, Carlin and Dykstra discuss the overlap between medical humanities and pastoral theology as well as teaching and cultivating empathy. Jain, Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the Indiana University School of Liberal Arts in Indianapolis, discusses her work on capitalism, the body, and yoga.
