Webinar on health disparities among vulnerable populations and COVID-19 features Keisha Ray

Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies and the Empire State Bioethics Consortium recently sponsored a webinar entitled, “Inequality, Vulnerability, and Health Justice: Learning from the Pandemic.”  Participants included Center faculty member Keisha Ray, PhD, who discussed Houston’s experience with COVID-19, especially among Latinx, Black, and immigrant populations. Other speakers included Lilia Cervantes, MD (Denver Health), and Louis P. Voigt, MD (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The discussion was moderated by Nancy Berlinger, PhD, of The Hastings Center.
