Biography

Kirsten Ostherr is the Gladys Louise Fox Professor of English and Chair of the English Department at Rice University, where she is a media scholar, health researcher, and the founding director of the Medical Humanities Program. Dr. Ostherr is also the Co-founder and Director of the Medical Futures Lab, and Adjunct Professor at UTHealth School of Public Health in the Division of Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences.
