A postdoctoral position in Biomedical Optics
A postdoctoral position is available in the Optical Spectroscopy and Imaging Lab at the Department of Nanomedicine and Biomedical Engineering, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. We are looking for creative and highly motivated individuals to join the interdisciplinary project involving tissue imaging, cancer biology and biomedical optics.
A PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Bionanotechnology, Chemistry, or Applied Physics is required. The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and a proven record in research excellence related to bioinstrumentation development or optical spectroscopy. Working experience with Raman spectroscopy, surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy, cancer biology or skills in animal handling are highly desired but not required.
