The annual State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) will be held Sept. 24–Oct. 12, allowing employees to give to one or more charities of their choice by making a one-time donation or setting a monthly contribution through payroll deduction.
This year donations may be made online via the UTHealth’s Self Service feature. If you prefer to fill out a paper pledge, your departmental team leaders can provide you with the right document.
UTHealth employees have historically been very generous—last year alone giving $187,000.
For as little as $2 a pay period, you can support our returning veterans, provide food and shelter for a homeless person, help advocate for a child, plant trees, or help clean up a beach. You can even divide your pledge among several of the hundreds of organizations listed. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact through a small gift or pledge.
You can also visit the UTHealth SECC website to view the 2012 Directory of Charities, a list of departmental team leaders, and the instructions for the different ways to make a donation.
