The sixth annual Yatsu Day Symposium will be held on “Innovations in Stroke Prevention” Friday, Oct. 26, at the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center Hermann Pavilion Conference Center.
Conference chairs are Dr. James Grotta, chair of the Department of Neurology and co-director of the Mischer Neuroscience Institute, and Dr. Sean Savitz, associate professor of neurology and director of the UT Stroke program.
The continuing medical education event starts at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast and registration. Parking is complimentary. Register for the conference.
The annual event is named in honor of Dr. Frank Yatsu, professor emeritus of neurology, who died March 9, 2012. He was the second chair of the Department of Neurology.
