The 10th Annual Pediatric Cardiology Symposium for the Primary Care Physician will be held 7 a.m. – 5:15 p.m., Oct. 18 at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, Hermann Pavilion Conference Center.
Jointly presented by Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital and UTHealth Medical School, the conference will provide the healthcare professional with an overview of current and changing concepts in the care of children with cardiovascular problems.
The target audience for this CME-approved program includes pediatricians, neonatologists, family practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants.
Course directors are Drs. P. Syamasundar Rao, professor of pediatrics and medicine, and John Breinholt III, director of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. Program faculty include Drs. Gurur Biliciler-Denktas, associate professor of pediatrics; Monesha Gupta, associate professor of pediatrics; Mousumi Moulik, assistant professor of pediatrics; Faustino Ramos, pediatrics; Chandra Srinivasan, assistant professor of pediatrics; Mohinder Thapar, professor of pediatrics; William Douglas, professor of pediatric cardiovascular surgery; and Eric Eichenwald, chair of the Department of Pediatrics.
