Dr. Carlos Hamilton, Jr., special adviser to the president at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), has been recognized for his support of the mission of the American College of Endocrinology Foundation.

He was presented the John A. Seibel, MD, Award during the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) 24th Annual Scientific & Clinical Congress in Nashville in May.

Hamilton has practiced clinical endocrinology and internal medicine for 43 years and is a past president of the AACE as well as a past president of the American College of Endocrinology.

The American College of Endocrinology Foundation was created to provide independent financial support for the American College of Endocrinology’s patient education programs, physician/allied health professional education and advancing science.
