university of Houston logoAre you interested in becoming a better health sciences educator?

If so, please join us for an information session to learn about the graduate programs for Health Science Professionals offered by the University of Houston online and on the campus of the Texas Medical Center. UH offers an all online 10-course master’s degree program that focuses on teaching and learning, a 4-course online certificate program in innovative uses of instructional technology, and a mostly face-to-face Executive Doctorate in Professional Leadership in Health Sciences Education. These programs are aimed at healthcare professionals (physicians, basic science faculty, dentists, nursing faculty, allied health professionals, fellows, residents, interns, medical students, and staff) who are currently working or studying at a healthcare institution in the Houston area.

Courses are taught by UH College of Education faculty who structure academic activities that students can use in their professional lives as they explore best practices in teaching, learn to design and conduct research, and investigate the uses of instructional technology in an academic healthcare setting.

The information session will be held at noon Thursday, March 24 in MSB B.635.

Detailed information about the programs may be found online or you may contact Dr. Bernard Robin, program coordinator.
