The Department of Neurology is hosting its first UTHealth Neurology Update Symposium Nov. 12 at the Memorial Hermann Conference Center.

The full-day CME accredited program focuses on recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of common neurological disorders. Topics include acute stroke management, dementia, neurorehabilitation, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, epilepsy, neuro-imaging and neuro-ethics.

The program is aimed at practicing neurologists, physicians and other healthcare providers who diagnosis and treat people with primary neurological diseases and disorders.

Speakers include Drs.
