Aging will be the focus of a daylong conference Sept. 23.

The Phyllis Gough Huffington Endowed Lecture Series and the UTHealth Consortium on Aging are present “Hot Topics in Aging, A Fresh Take on Caring for Older Adults.”

The daylong interprofessional continuing education course will be held 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23 at the Cooley Center, 7440 Cambridge St.

Topics will include frailty, elder abuse, and dementia. McGovern Medical School presenters include Dr. Jason Burnett, assistant professor of geriatrics, and Dr. Jessica Lee, assistant professor of geriatrics.

This event is open to the public and there will be free parking for the first 100 registrants.
