To address controversies in trauma, emergency medicine, and critical care, Memorial Hermann Health System will host the 2019 Red Duke Trauma Symposium March 29-30 at the J.W. Marriott Houston (5150 Westheimer Road).

At this year’s event, leading experts in acute care general surgery, emergency medicine, orthopedic traumatology, and neurotrauma highlight advances in treatment of adult and pediatric patients with an array of traumatic injuries and the development of appropriate strategies for incorporating evidence-based protocols into clinical management.

The Red Duke Trauma Symposium spans five sessions over two days. The symposium begins with Adult Trauma Care for Pre-Hospital, Pediatric Trauma Care for Pre-hospital, and Skills Stations for Pre-hospital & Hospital Personnel on the first day and concludes with Adult Trauma Care for Physicians and Nurses, and Noteworthy Topics and Pediatric Trauma Care for Physicians and Nurses on the final day.

The two-day course is designed for pre-hospital care providers, nurses, advanced practitioners and physicians. To register click here, and for more information, visit the event’s website.
