The event, held in memory of Dr. Marnie Rose, a second-year resident who died of brain cancer at age 28, benefits brain cancer research at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, pediatric health initiatives at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, and treatment for children with brain tumors at McGovern Medical School. Support for the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation enabled the foundation to give more than $6 million since 2003.
