The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston (a part of UTHealth) will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year with an alumni panel discussion. The Medical School community is invited to attend, 3-4:30 p.m., Nov. 8 at Onstead Auditorium.
“Finding your Passion … Personal Catalysts and Steps to Career Success” will feature Dr. Hugo Barrera Saldana, ’82, a specialist in science and technology commercialization; Dr. Cherie Butts, ’03, associate director of immunology research at Biogen Idec, Inc.; Dr. Eugene Gerner, ’74, professor at the University of Arizona Health Science Center; and Cathy Wicklund, ’93, director of the Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling at Northwestern University.
